About this Collection

The Society for Conservation Biology's International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC) brings together conservation professionals and students to develop new and powerful tools to further marine conservation science and policy.  IMCC4, held in St. Johns, Canada (30 July - 3 August, 2016) has an overall theme of Making Marine Science Matter.  Presentations and posters hosted on this collection are on topics of fisheries, climate change, other anthropogenic effects, ecosystems, marine citizenship, policy, social and cultural interactions, and scientific enterprise, among other topics.
