Highlighting tools and workflows developed by the Galaxy Community for the betterment of the research ecosystem.
The Galaxy Project is an open-source platform introduced to enable users to develop tools from various domains, run code in interactive environments, and manage data by ensuring results are accessible and reproducible, as recommended by the FAIR data principles.
The ethos of Galaxy is mirrored by F1000Research by promoting accessibility, reproducibility, and minimal barriers as key foundations for both platforms, and the Galaxy Gateway represents the harmony of these principles as a designated venue for Galaxy researchers to share, publish and access research output related to the Galaxy platform.
The Galaxy Gateway is open to researchers to publish a range of different article types, including Opinion, Method, and Software Tool articles, among others, and is also a Galaxy-recommended hub for slides and posters from Galaxy-organised events, including the annual Galaxy Community Conference.
For more information regarding the policies of F1000Research, including a full range of the different article types on the platform, please see here.
