We will publish original research articles, case reports and, subject to RCPath advisory group approval, validation studies of laboratory methods and antibodies for open peer review and approval for inclusion on Pubmed and other blibliographic databases. Posters, slides, and Documents (including clinical audits and meeting reports) can be published but are not peer reviewed and therefore not indexed in bibliographic databases. 
At least one author on a submitted article must be a fellow of the College and may be asked on submission to confirm their affiliation. Submissions are also welcomed from trainees in any discipline, providing an introduction to the processes involved in publishing and to support research training in peer review.
The Gateway will provide a living record of pathology research and will support the College to deliver the objective defined it its Charter to promote and disseminate research.
