Maximise the reach and reuse of your oncology research through open access and open data
The Oncology Gateway provides a community area for all those involved or interested in cancer research to access and publish articles openly. We welcome submissions in various article formats across all topics in oncology research, from biomarkers to cancer treatments and survivorship.
The Oncology Gateway offers an innovative alternative to traditional publishing and allows researchers to disseminate their findings quickly and drive their publication from start to finish. All peer-reviewed articles are published following F1000Research’s unique publishing model and are available to read without restrictions.
Our post-publication peer review process is formal, invited, and fully open, so your research can start being read and used while expert reviewers assess it. Once your article has passed peer review, inclusion in Scopus, PubMed, MEDLINE, Google Scholar and other major indexes will help it to reach more readers. Associated data is also available as described in the Data Availability Statement of each article.
The Oncology Gateway supports the United Nations calls to actions to ensure good health and wellbeing for all and in particular:
Goal 3.4 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Comprehensive Cancer Control, to reduce premature deaths from cancer by one third
Goal 3.8 to achieve universal health coverage (UHC).
