Scope
To understand cellular and molecular biology is to understand the foundations of life, and we believe that accessibility to the ever-growing pool of research in this area is paramount to developing a more comprehensive knowledge of this critical topic.
The Cell & Molecular Biology Gateway takes advantage of the plethora of article types on the F1000Research platform to collate research across all facets of the discipline, including:
- Cell Biology: Cellular Organisation & Function, Cellular Dynamics and Membrane Traffic, Cell Metabolism, Cell Signalling, Cellular Morphogenesis and Cell Polarity, Cell Cycle, Cell Motility, and Genes and Genomes.
- DNA: DNA Sequencing, DNA Analysis, DNA Replication, DNA Methylation.
- RNA: RNA Coding & Decoding, RNA Transcription, Gene Expression, RNA-based Regulation.
- Protein: Proteomics, Protein Structures, Protein Assembling, Protein Folding, Protein Modifications.
This Gateway allows submission of cellular & molecular biology research in a number of different article formats, including Method Articles, Study Protocols and Data Notes. We also accept non-peer reviewed content formats such as Documents, Posters and Slides. These formats provide early visibility of developing knowledge, and allow authors to publicly display important supporting work to their research.
If you have any questions regarding the Cell & Molecular Biology Gateway, please reach out to
