Scope
Research into plant science fundamentally impacts the way in which we understand the wider biological world. As a result of this, it is essential that this knowledge is easily shareable and accessible for authors and readers alike. The research community requires resources that expedite the process from submission to quality-assured publication, and in order to facilitate this, the Plant Science Gateway will collate relevant and valuable outputs from established and emerging researchers across the botany ecosystem.
This Gateway will make use of the expansive range of article types on the platform which will help to disseminate knowledge within the subject, and encourages researchers to publish outputs related to the following non-exhaustive areas:
- Biochemistry
- Biotechnology
- Plant Reproduction
- Genetics and Epigenetics
- Morphology and Evolution
- Taxonomy and Systematics
- Cell Biology
- Host-Pathogen Interactions
This Gateway allows submission of plant science research in a number of different article formats, including Software Tools, Method Articles and Data Notes. We also accept non-peer reviewed formats such as Documents, Posters and Slides. These formats provide early visibility of developing knowledge, and enables researchers to store and access valuable information.
If you have any questions regarding the Plant Science Gateway, please reach out to info@f1000.com.
